John M. Turner, a 78-year-old resident of Austin, Indiana, tragically lost his life on November 7, 2015. Turner, who owned John's Coins and Jewelry Store, was found deceased at his store located on West Main Street. Initially, the situation was perceived as a medical emergency, but upon further examination by the Scott County Coroner, it was determined that Turner had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
