In the late hours of July 6, 2022, the life of 22-year-old Na’Shun Wright, a male from Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically cut short. The fatal incident unfolded just before midnight at an Exxon gas station situated at the intersection of East 46th Street and North Arlington Avenue. When officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Wright and another man inside a car, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

personnel pronounced Na’Shun Wright dead at the scene. The second man found in the vehicle was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Investigators were able to retrieve surveillance video from the gas station, which they hoped would provide crucial evidence in the case.
Despite the availability of security footage, the investigation into Na’Shun Wright's death has not led to any publicly announced arrests or the identification of any suspects. A 2022 homicide report compiled by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department listed the case as unsolved. As of late 2025, there have been no significant updates released to the public regarding any progress in the investigation, and the case remains an open and unsolved homicide.
