On a summer evening in Muncie, Indiana, the life of 34-year-old Samuel L. Gillum was brought to a tragic and abrupt end. On Saturday, July 30, 2022, while leaving a Walmart Superstore with his wife, Gillum was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the store located at 4801 West Clara Lane.
