On a summer evening in Terre Haute, Indiana, the life of 22-year-old Quincy M. Rogers-Porter was tragically cut short. On Sunday, July 31, 2022, Rogers-Porter was shot at the intersection of 19th and Walnut Streets, in a neighborhood near Davis Park Elementary School and Saint Patrick Catholic Church. Despite the efforts of those who rushed to his aid, he succumbed to his injuries, leaving a community in shock and a family to grapple with a sudden and violent loss.
