On March 15, 2024, 22-year-old Darian R. Tyler of Terre Haute, Indiana, lost his life in a shooting incident at the Red Carpet Inn, located at 2150 N. 3rd Street in Terre Haute. The incident occurred on the city’s north side, near the U.S. 41 and 63 interchange.
