On the morning of Sunday, October 9, 2022, a tragic discovery was made on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of North Euclid Avenue following reports of a person down. Upon arrival, they found the lifeless body of Deric Lee Thomas, a 47-year-old African American male, lying on the ground in front of a truck.
