On a Saturday morning, November 5, 2022, the life of 23-year-old Dezmonn Nixon was tragically cut short in the Carr Square neighborhood of St. Louis. Nixon, a male, was walking with a 27-year-old woman in the 1400 block of North 14th Street at approximately 9:30 a.m. when they were suddenly approached by two male suspects. The assailants opened fire, striking Nixon in the face and chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
