On that fateful evening, Judy, who was eight months pregnant, was at home with her common-law husband, Harvey W. Wilkerson, and their five-year-old son, Harvey Wayne Barton. The family was brutally murdered by the notorious Briley gang, a group of brothers known for their violent crime spree in Richmond during the late 1970s.
