In the quiet, pre-dawn hours of October 23, 1988, the life of 20-year-old Tammy Lynn Thorpe was tragically cut short in Warrenton, Virginia. A secretary from Marshall, she was last seen alive around 3:00 a.m., driving her 1986 Pontiac Grand Am. Later that morning, at approximately 7:20 a.m., a passerby made a grim discovery.
