Death by Force

Tammy Lynn Thorpe, a 20-year-old woman from Warrenton, Virginia, was tragically found dead on October 23, 1988. Her body was discovered off a gravel lane adjacent to Route 17, approximately a quarter mile north of the Warrenton town limits. The autopsy revealed that Tammy had been shot to death. She was last seen around 3:00 AM in Warrenton, driving her 1986 Gold Pontiac Grand Am with Virginia registration 86-TAMMY. Her vehicle was later found parked in the Warrenton Plaza shopping center.
