Daniel Patrick O'Neil, a 22-year-old graduate student at Virginia Tech, tragically lost his life on April 16, 2007, during the Virginia Tech shootings in Blacksburg, Virginia. Daniel was a promising environmental engineering student with a bright future ahead of him. He had previously graduated from Lafayette College with a degree in civil engineering and was known for his passion for music, theater, and environmental studies.
