On May 21, 2011, Darrel Spencer, a 20-year-old from Virginia Beach, VA, tragically lost his life in a violent incident that unfolded in a 7-Eleven parking lot. The events of that night were chaotic, with several altercations spilling over from the nearby Hangar 09 nightclub, located off Lynnhaven Parkway. The situation escalated when Spencer, who was reportedly armed with a shotgun, was involved in a confrontation that led to his death.
