Derwin DJMarcel Watts II, a 19-year-old from Chesapeake, Virginia, tragically lost his life on April 22, 2012. The circumstances surrounding his death were both shocking and heartbreaking. Derwin was one of the victims in a violent incident that occurred during a standoff involving a SWAT team. The standoff took place at a residence where Derwin and another individual, Michael Temple, were held hostage by Charles Collins, the ex-boyfriend of Derwin's mother.
