Torrey Lamont Anderson, a 21-year-old from Raleigh, North Carolina, was tragically found dead on February 12, 2013, in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. His body was discovered near a burning vehicle in a wooded area off Nike Park Road in Carrollton. The Isle of Wight Sheriff's Office identified Anderson's body, which was severely burned and "beyond recognition". The Medical Examiner's Office determined that Anderson had been shot before his body was set on fire.
