Kenneth Starnes, aged 58, and his 80-year-old mother, Nancy Starnes, were tragically murdered on September 23, 2017, in their home in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. The incident was a result of a home invasion that turned deadly. The police were alerted to the scene after relatives, concerned about not being able to reach Nancy and Kenneth, discovered signs of forced entry and immediately contacted the authorities.
