A sense of celebration following a high school graduation ceremony in Richmond, Virginia, turned to terror and tragedy in June of 2023. Moments after 18-year-old Shawn Jackson received his diploma from Huguenot High School, gunfire erupted in a nearby park where he had gone to meet his family.
