In the late hours of a Sunday evening in August 2013, the community of the London Oaks public housing complex in Portsmouth, Virginia, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of one man and left four others wounded. Aron Turner, a 31-year-old male resident of Portsmouth, was pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.
