In the summer of 2021, the life of Anthony Thomas 'Bamboo' Skeeter, a 38-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Portsmouth, Virginia. On the evening of July 18th, Skeeter was found with a life-threatening gunshot wound on Edwards Street.
