Akeim R. Easter, a 25-year-old resident of Petersburg, Virginia, tragically lost his life on April 27, 2014. Known affectionately as "Ark," Easter was a beloved father, brother, and friend. He was fatally shot on his porch early Sunday morning after returning home from a funeral where he had served as a pallbearer. The funeral was for three women and a toddler who had been found dead inside a burned-out home just a few blocks from where Easter was shot.
