On the night of April 3, 2015, Kimberly Eledge, a 35-year-old Caucasian woman, was found deceased in a room at the Loyalty Inn in Petersburg, Virginia. Her death was part of a double homicide. Alongside her was 39-year-old William Thurston III. Both had been fatally shot. The discovery was made by police officers who were called to the motel at approximately 11:30 p.m.
