David Duke Sims, a 31-year-old resident of Chesapeake, Virginia, was found dead on August 17, 2014, in Newport News. His body was discovered in the driver's seat of a vehicle parked in the lot of an apartment complex on Boulder Drive. The police responded to a call of shots fired around 3:30 a.m. and found Sims shot to death.
