Jahzeel Maleek Deloatch, a 24-year-old resident of Newport News, Virginia, tragically lost his life on December 3, 2022. The incident occurred late on a Saturday night when Newport News Police responded to reports of gunshots in the 13200 block of Aqueduct Drive. Upon arrival, officers found Deloatch suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
