On an early Sunday morning in Martinsville, Virginia, the community was shaken by an act of violence that claimed the lives of two men. Orlando Akridge, a 30-year-old male, was killed on October 12, 2014, in a double homicide. The other victim in the shooting was 32-year-old Julius Keon Giggetts.
