On October 21, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Martinsville, Virginia, resulting in the death of 46-year-old Michael Jerome Hairston. The Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a deceased person at a residence on Arrowhead Circle. Upon arrival, they discovered Hairston's body, which was subsequently transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Roanoke for further examination.
