On a Friday afternoon in Martinsville, Virginia, a violent altercation cut short the life of 44-year-old Donny Shermaine Martin. The Black / African American male was in the parking lot of Kuntry Boyz Tires on AL Philpott Highway on March 11, 2022, when a dispute erupted. Around 12:30 p.m., what began as an argument escalated tragically, and Martin was shot multiple times in the torso.
