In the quiet hours of a weekend, the life of 16-year-old Christopher Capri Mullins was tragically cut short. On the morning of Sunday, November 2, 2014, his body was discovered behind a strip mall in the Denbigh area of Newport News, Virginia. The young man, a student at Enterprise Academy, had sustained at least one gunshot wound. Residents in the vicinity recalled hearing gunfire the previous Saturday night but had dismissed it, tragically unaware of the violence that had transpired.
