Gerald Doran Hairston, a 35-year-old resident of Roanoke, Virginia, tragically lost his life on March 28, 2015. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 3:30 AM, when police responded to a shots fired call at the Westwind Apartments located on Ordway Drive Northwest in Roanoke.
