In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in Hampton, Virginia, the life of 29-year-old Dwayne Spivey was tragically cut short. On June 24, 2015, police responded to a call of a shooting in the 4800 block of 81st Street. Upon arrival, they discovered two men with gunshot wounds. One of them, Dwayne Spivey, a male resident of Newport News, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second man, who was injured but survived, was identified as the suspect in the fatal shooting.
