In the summer of 2015, the life of 22-year-old Kempton D. Moore was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. On June 27th, police responded to a call that led them to a school playground on 1st Avenue. There, they discovered Moore's body; he had been fatally shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. The subsequent investigation by the Richmond Police Department sought to piece together the events that led to the violent end of a young life.
