In the summer of 2015, the life of Nagash Oson McKoy, a 37-year-old male resident of Newport News, Virginia, was tragically cut short. On the evening of July 1st, the sounds of gunfire pierced the air in the 400 block of Turlington Road. When police officers arrived at the scene around 7:53 p.m., they discovered McKoy inside a van, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of medics to perform CPR, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
