Vandalet Mercer, a 27-year-old resident of Portsmouth, Virginia, tragically lost her life on December 15, 2015. Mercer was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend, known for her good-hearted nature and friendly demeanor. On the night of her death, Mercer was involved in a double shooting incident near Deep Creek Boulevard and Graham Street in Portsmouth.
