In the early hours of Sunday, January 3, 2016, the life of 36-year-old Quincy C. Broadnax was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. He was a male victim of gun violence. The incident, which marked the city's first homicide of the new year, took place in the 3800 block of Midlothian Turnpike on the city's Southside.
