Aaron L. Hunter, a 23-year-old resident of Suffolk, Virginia, was tragically killed on March 11, 2016, during a robbery at the Wilson Pines Apartments on East Washington Street. The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. when two individuals, Markelyn Lamontre Jones and Mandocous Jayni Rivers, forcibly entered the apartment. According to police reports, Hunter was shot and killed during the robbery, while another man was assaulted, and a third man was shot at but not hit.
