On the evening of March 11, 2016, the life of 23-year-old Aaron L. Hunter, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in a violent encounter within the walls of a Suffolk, Virginia apartment. The fatal incident unfolded at the Wilson Pines Apartments on East Washington Street, where a robbery escalated into a homicide.
