In the late afternoon of April 13, 2016, the sound of gunshots shattered the quiet of the 800 block of Lindenwood Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia. When police arrived shortly before 3:00 p.m., they discovered 21-year-old Myquan McCloud near the road, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
