Desmond L. Holmes, aged 32, tragically lost his life on August 21, 2016, in Richmond, Virginia. Holmes was found unresponsive in the parking lot of an apartment building located in the 3900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Holmes had suffered a fatal gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
