Demetrius Elijah Estes, a 21-year-old resident of Newport News, Virginia, tragically lost his life on November 12, 2016. The incident occurred at the Tarrytown Apartment Complex, where Newport News Police responded to reports of gunshots around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found two victims: 19-year-old Juwan Rashik Williams, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and Demetrius Elijah Estes, who was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
