Jose Tomas Velasquez, a 44-year-old resident of Manassas, Virginia, was tragically killed in a late-night shooting on November 25, 2016. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. in the 9200 block of Byrd Drive. Police responded to reports of a shooting and found Velasquez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
