In the early morning hours of January 26, 2017, the life of 24-year-old Jerode Rashorde Greene was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. Greene, a male resident of Henrico County, was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 4200 block of Chamberlayne Avenue. The call came in to the Richmond Police Department shortly after 8 a.m., a time when many were starting their daily commutes to work and school.
