In the quiet of a Richmond, Virginia apartment in February 2017, a tragedy unfolded that would not be discovered for a couple of days. Inside the Oliver Crossing Apartments on Coalter Street, 55-year-old Deborah Walker and her 24-year-old daughter, Shaquenda Walker, were found deceased from gunshot wounds in what police would later describe as a heartbreaking murder-suicide.
