On a June evening in 2017, the life of 18-year-old Tyquon Whitehead was tragically cut short in Chesterfield, Virginia. The young Black / African American man was the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. The incident took place in the 4800 block of Bur-leith Court, a residential area that became the scene of a homicide investigation.
