In the summer of 2017, the life of 47-year-old Alfreda Lafond Leadbetter was tragically cut short in a Henrico, Virginia motel room, just outside of Richmond. On the morning of Wednesday, July 12th, police responded to a call and discovered Ms. Leadbetter inside a room at the motel, having suffered from a gunshot wound. Medical examiners later confirmed that this injury was the cause of her death, and her case was officially ruled a homicide.
