On a tragic night in Harrisonburg, Virginia, the life of a young Hispanic man was cut short. Twenty-year-old Miguel Angel Meza Ramirez was at the Vibe Bistro and Hookah Lounge on South Main Street on October 8, 2017, when a dispute escalated into fatal violence. An altercation inside the establishment led to Ramirez being shot. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically succumbed to his injuries a short time later, leaving a community to grapple with a senseless act of violence.
