On April 15, 2023, the Harrisonburg High School junior became a victim of gun violence in a shooting that also claimed the life of 22-year-old D'angelo Marquise Gracy of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The incident occurred at an off-campus housing location.
Calour, a male described as having an infectious smile that could brighten a room, was a beloved member of his school community and played on the football team, wearing the number 85.
The news of Calour's untimely death sent shockwaves through Harrisonburg, deeply affecting his family, friends, and fellow students.
