Thomas Wimmer, a 64-year-old man from Ashburn, Virginia, died on January 22, 2019, after a tragic incident at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia. According to reports, Wimmer was a patient at the hospital's Heart and Vascular Institute when he armed himself with a gun and barricaded himself in his hospital room.
