William Reed Jr., a 22-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, was tragically killed on May 15, 2019. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Floral Avenue in South Richmond. According to reports, officers responded to a call about a person shot at approximately 11:21 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Reed lying in the roadway with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A neighbor reported hearing at least two gunshots before calling 911.
