Richard Pelly, aged 54, tragically died on May 20, 2020, in what authorities have determined to be a murder-suicide incident. The event took place at a convenience store in Strasburg, Virginia. According to reports, Richard Pelly was fatally shot by his wife, Sheila Pelly, who was 51 years old at the time. After shooting her husband, Sheila Pelly proceeded to take her own life.
