Lois Irene Cassell, aged 90, passed away on May 28, 2020, in Martinsville, Virginia. Her death was part of a tragic incident that occurred at her residence on Venna Avenue. The Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to a well-being check at the home around 7:45 p.m. on May 28, 2020. Upon arrival, deputies were unable to make contact with anyone inside the house.
