On July 7, 2024, 19-year-old Iviyan T. Dandridge of Martinsville, Virginia, tragically lost her life in a shooting incident. The Martinsville Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 2:36 a.m. in the 1400 block of Rivermont Heights, where a large gathering had taken place.
