In the quiet early moments of a Tuesday, just after midnight on July 28, 2020, the life of Andrew L. Gary Sr. was tragically cut short in the Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia. A male, reported to be 33 or 34 years old, he was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 900 block of North 31st Street. When Richmond Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Mr. Gary, who was pronounced deceased right there on the street.
