A man is shot and found in the driveway of a house in Richmond, VA In the early evening hours of January 7, 2012, 21-year-old De'Shawn L. Mayo was found lying in the street in the 600 block of Woodhaven Drive in Richmond, Virginia. He was an African-American male who, though he grew up in the area, was not a current resident, leaving his reason for being there a mystery to his family. Just before 8 p.m., he was reportedly seen getting into a dark-colored, four-door car. A text message sent from his phone at 8:03 p.m. confirmed he was still alive at that time.
