In the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 11, 2023, the life of Andrew Lavar Roberts, a 23-year-old male from Henrico, Virginia, was tragically cut short. Richmond Police were called to the 2400 block of Ford Avenue in the city's East End around 7:39 a.m. for a report of a person down. Upon their arrival, they discovered Roberts' unresponsive body in an alley near Sussex Street. He had sustained an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
